April 7, 2014

Hey Mom and Dad,

We enjoyed conference too. There was a lot of important things said in conference. I really liked the priesthood session. There were some great talks like how we aren't suppose to sleep through the restoration. That was a good one. Holland, he is so bold. I love that about him. Follow up is very important in everyday life and in missionary work. But other that that we taught some really good lessons and talked to some very nice people. I have noticed there is a lot of churches that believe in pretty much the same things that we believe in. So that was kinda cool. I am grateful for the priesthood authority and everyone that is worthy to use it. They stressed about that a lot in conference too. Well, I love you so much and I hope you have a wonderful day.

March 31, 2014

Hey Mom and Dad,

It's good to hear from ya. Thanks for everyone fasting for me yesterday. So we had an excellent sacrament meeting. The Hamilton family I am working with were the first two people to bear their testimonies. And they did such a great job. The Bishop came up to me and told me that the Hamilton family was one of the ones that I needed to come here to Florence for.  Right after they bore their testimonies me and my comp both went up and my comp went first. I looked out and I saw that everyone was crying from the Hamilton couple. So they really set the tone for the spirit to be there! I bore my testimony about having the right attitude. I talked about how I helped the habitat people build houses and I told how old the people helping are. I told them one of the older guys is 85 years old and just had back surgery. He took three months off and he is the main framer guy. He has the right attitude and how I need to have the right attitude to be a missionary and to share the gospel. It made me think of the Savior and how he had to have the right attitude to complete the atonement. That really hit me hard. I know if we have the right attitude towards things we will become close to our Heavenly Father and will feel happier. Thanks for everything you do for me. Then we had a good dinner and after dinner we went and visited with Ken Platt. He just had surgery. He told us one of his friends wanted to meet the missionaries and he lives out in the middle of no where. We got lost for three hours but we finally prayed and with the right impressions we made the right turns and we made it out of there. It's truly amazing how God does answer prayers. He answered many of mine yesterday! Throughout this week has been a trial for me but I got some answers yesterday and I know now what I need to do. I love fasting and receiving answers. I fasted about when to come home from my mission and I felt strongly that I need to go home. I don't know why I received that answer but I know Heavenly Father has a plan for me and I know if I listen to him I will be blessed.  It's truly amazing how God answers prayers just like he answered yours with Jeremy! I am grateful that I got to return to my missions and help the people here in Florence. I have learned a lot from them and I have helped people here and touched their lives I know with out a doubt. Thanks for the support and the prayers. I definitely needed them. Well, how did your week go? Anything exciting happened to you guys? How is John doing with his snow shack? How is the rest of the family doing? Well, I am excited to do this week. We are trying to baptize at least two people by the end of the transfer or at least have some one on date so we are going to work extra hard on that. Well, I love ya and thanks for everything you do for me. And pray for me. I love you and hope you have a wonderful day.

March 24, 2014

Hey mom,

My week was pretty good. We are still doing a lot of service. We have been helping at habitat for humanity and we have been chopping a lot of wood so people can start saving up for winter. We did a lot of moves on Saturday. I finally sweated up here. It was warm on Saturday and we went tracking on Saturday as we are trying to find some new gators. Other than that the week went pretty good. We had zone conference on Friday. There was a lot of good things brought up. We had a good amount of people show up for sports night. It was fun. So the beginning of last week we were full bike because our car was in the shop. So that was fun. It's been nice and sunny out and today is very beautiful. Today we are going sand boarding so that's going to be interesting. Well, that's sweet you went down to El Paso to support Caleb and Carson. It's crazy how big they are getting. Is it spring break down there? I am enjoying my companion. He is really fun to get along with. My Christ like attribute is coming along pretty good. I need a lot of help in that attribute. That would be fun to take Jeremy out to eat at SASS. Are you guys building a lot to get ready for the SASS show? Well, I can't think of anything else. Well, I love you and hope you have a fun exciting day and drive safe.

March 17, 2014

Hey Mom & Dad,

Wow, that's crazy Briana stayed there for so long. That's super crazy about Jeremy and his family. Is everyone okay? Do they have pictures of their car? Sounds like Cole got it the worst. How is he doing? That's awesome that Jeremy called dad. I bet that made dad happy. Ya, we need to go finding more investigators since we gave our baptism to the sister missionaries in the ward. So we have 0 on date. So we need to work hard and find some more solid gators. Ya, I stayed here in Florence. I have been here for 6 months now and ya I got Elder Taylor. He is a very hard worker and funny to be around. We get along just great. He is from Alpine, Utah and knows Katy Hill and her sisters. He is a seasoned missionary. This morning we went to the beach to see a dead whale and I pulled his teeth out so now I got a whale tooth, haha. It was just the head as I think something else ate him. That's great about Cris Edwards. I am glad he served his mission. Well, other than that we had a pretty good week. We did so much service it was almost too much service, haha. We went out and chopped wood for the Hamilton family. It was a lot of fun and then had a BBQ and talked how we could become better missionaries. It was great. Then we are helping build a home for habitat for humanity. It's really fun working with all these old people. I think this will be my last transfer here in Florence since I have been here since September. The ward here is very missionary minded. I will have to ask Taylor about his ancestors and see if there is any connection. We gave our car to the sisters because there car is in the shop getting worked on. So that means we are on bikes this week which is okay. But we live in the middle of no where so we are going to have to bike pretty far. But I need the exercise. But other than that we  have been doing good. Well, I love you guys and I hope you have a good week and I will keep Jeremy in my prayers. I love you so much.

March 10, 2014

Hey mom and Dad,

That's so awesome that Jeremy came down with his family!!! I wouldn't blame Jeremy for being scared. I bet you guys had a wonderful time and ya he looks like you so much. I knew that he would come say hello to you someday. Do you remember when I saw hime before I entered the MTC. I knew he was going to see you soon. I am glad we are getting so many blessing and I am glad God answers prayers! That is an awesome miracle. Speaking on miracles, we had an amazing one. So do you remember me talking about Tammy last week? Well anyways we watched the restoration DVD with Tammy and the spirit was so strong there and afterwards she turned to us and said she wants to be baptized. It was crazy because me and my companion Elder White was going to set a date with her for April 12th. So that was pretty cool. It really hope she gets baptized. Then we were planning on setting another date with another gator but she fell through. But hopefully we can set one with her:) We have a couple of pretty solid investigators and 4 of are less active families came to church. It was so cool. The senior couple that is down in Redport came up and spoke in our ward and they taught how we need to start preparing for General Conference now and about doing missionary work. Then he bore his awesome testimony and how he was converted to the gospel. The spirit filled the room. One of our investigators that is still in high school was there and she said she felt something in there and throughout the classes and we told her that was the spirit and we kinda touch bases on baptism but she said she is going to start coming to church more. Well other than that we have been teaching about 15 lessons this week. I wanna bump up to 25 a week. I hope me and Elder Taylor can reach it. Transfers are here and I AM STAYING. I am so excited as I love this ward. I have been here for 6 months and I am working on 7. That is the longest I have ever been in an area. It's really crazy how fast time goes by! It feels like I just got out here! So my new comp is Elder Taylor. He has been out for a while now. I believe he goes home around August. I am excited to get him because he 's been out a while and I bet he actually knows how to work. So we can tear it up this month. That's about my week and I can't think of anything else. I am really glad Jeremy finally got to see the family. I am really sad I missed him but I know I will get to see him when I get back. I am hoping he will come to my homecoming talk!
Well, I love you and the family and I am so grateful to come back on my mission and touch the life of these Oregon people. This work is so sacred and I am glad to be out here and help these wonderful people here in Oregon. I am so grateful for Jesus Christ's atonement. It's helped me so much in my life. I am so blessed to have such an amazing family that knows about the gospel and lives it. Thank you so much for what you guys do for me. I love you so much and I really hope you have an amazing week. Oh, this week I am picking a Christlike attribute and I am going to work on it this week. I am picking patience. I challenge you to do the same. I love you guys so much.

March 3, 2014

Hey Mom and Dad,

It's good to hear from you!! That is a lot of miles you guys put on your cars this past week. Wow, that's cool where did you see all the wild burros? That's funny that the lady believed you when you said there was a fish in the rain water. People are so weird. I am really glad you did well. I am glad you got some rain down there. Well, now this week you guys can get some rest. Isn't it cool how easy it is to share the gospel with people. I love how easy it is to do it. I am excited to see the Gilbert Temple some day. I heard it looks way cool at night time.
Well, things are going great here. We are getting a lot of rain. This week we taught 20 lessons. It was a really busy week and pretty much all those lessons where with less active. Oh, so we found a new investigator out of a less active family. It was so cool. So we knocked on the door and a young lady answered and we said we are the missionaries trying to get to know the members and she said let me get my sister. We talked to her sister and found out she is not a member so we asked her to take the lessons and she agreed. It was way cool. It's crazy how fast time is flying by. Transfers are in a week and I think I am getting transferred. It's sad because I love this area. Well, other than that we have been finding and teaching a bunch.
Well, I love you and hope you have a great week.

Love you, Elder Reed

February 24, 2014

Hey Mom and Dad,

We had a really good week. Me and my comp have been waking up an hour early so we can to to a gym, so we work out!! Because a member owns the gym and we are actually teaching people there, it's pretty cool. That's awesome Wesley got home. I am sure Wes did a great job. Briley is 12. She is getting so stinker old, haha. It sounds like you have a really busy week. Good luck at winter range. Hopefully you guys do good. You woke up early to head out if the sun isn't up yet. I hope it goes good. I will pray for you guys. That's cool the temple is getting dedicated. Well, I did instant message Micah Rogers and asked him about his grandma. Well, I sure do love him. He is a really nice guy and I am glad he is still in our ward. I did get my bike fixed and I have been riding it. It's so much better to have a nice bike instead of having a broken one. It's so nice to bike up hills now. Well, I helped George a less active member fix his lawn mower and mowed his lawn. I miss that smell of fresh cut grass! I know my comp pretty good. It's crazy we are on week 4 of transfers! Time is flying by. I am doing good. Just hanging in there and trying to find people to teach the gospel too. I seem to cry too when I teach classes so your not the only one. Well, I love you and hope you have a good week.

February 17, 2013

Oh, dang dad, that would be crazy to see Chisholm get dragged. That would be crazy to see but it would be funny after it's all over! Well, I am glad he is okay. It's starting to warm up a little here in Florence.  It's been super windy and rainy here. How was the Reed rodeo? Did you guys take pictures? I wish I could have been there to the open house. I am sure the temple is really pretty!! You are doing a good job on inviting Mark to it. Keep up the good work.
Well, this week flew by and me and my comp got lot done. So we went 20 miles north of Florence to go see a less active. We knocked on the door and this lady answered and we asked if Sister Hunsaker lived here and she said no. We ask how long she lived here and she said a couple of years. We were like okay and we started to leave because we had other things to do. She asked us if we believed in angels and I said ya. She said, "I see them and they tell me stuff." Both me and my comp looked at each other and had a really bad feeling. We started to ask a question and she said she believes in a higher power but thinks god is a man with a cats head, so weird. Then she said she has been praying to know which church to join. I said a young boy was doing the same thing as you and told her about Joseph Smith and I was about to give the 1st vision. She cut my off and started to talk about the arch angel and how he needs to be saved and I was like whoa we need to leave. So we gave her a Book of Mormon and left. We probably won't go back. But other that that crazy lady we taught some really good lessons and we are hoping we will get a baptism next month. But I am pretty sure I will be leaving next transfer as I have been here for 5 1/2 months. It will be sad to leave this area but than again it will be good. So Friday we helped this guy frame his house and we were asking him questions and he was asking us questions. He said he wants to learn more so we are going over to his house later this week to watch the Testaments with him. He is a really nice guy!! Then we taught the gospel of Jesus Christ to Levi and his kids and I taught them the glass bottle and the egg and the matches lesson. They were really into it and it was really good. We are going over to hang out with him today. Well, other than that we have been tracking a bunch trying to find the people.
Hey, Can you tell John to write or email me. I haven't heard from him in a while. Well, I love you and hope you have a wonderful week. Always remember that we are all missionaries and we need to find Jesus' lost sheep.

Feb 10, 2014

Hey Mom and Dad

It's good to hear from you!! That was a crazy spiritual thing that happened to you being stuck in the tree. I am glad you are okay and that Heavenly Father answered your prayers. That would of hurt if you fell down. This past week I have been looking for the positive things instead of the negative ones and it's really helped me out. Last week I didn't want to be on a mission any more. I had no more fire:( But Wednesday our zone got to go to the Temple and I prayed in the Celestial room and I prayed to have the fire like I had when I first came out in 2011. God did answer my prayers because I don't have that desire anymore and I want to finish my mission and endure to the end. I have made it this far so why should I quit now. Well, my story isn't quite like yours but I know God does answer prayers and he doesn't put you through a situation that you can't handle.  I love how each day you learn so much and how it grows your testimony. I am doing good.
It's been really cold and it snowed up here, but now it's just raining. I am glad an investigator got me a really big jacket because I would of froze.  We are still doing service as our Bishop said he would rather us to do serve than tracking.  And I agree with him. We find more people doing service than we do tracking here in Florence.  All of our investigators have come through doing service. Well we went out to Mapleton and did some service for some less actives there. We are building a green house for a load in their ward. Other than that we have been doing good but don't have anyone to teach but that will change here soon.
Well, I am glad everyone had fun at the rodeo. You will have to send me pictures or put them on the blog. Well, I will let you know next week about our gators because we don't have any right now. Well, I am glad you guys are doing good and that you are working at the Temple.
I love you and thank you for everything you do for me. I hope you have a SAFE and exciting week. I will talk to you next week.

Feb 3, 2014

Hey Mom,

I love your Spanish. I don't remember any of the Spanish that I learned:( but of well. My new companion is kind of hard to get along with but I am still working on that and looking for the positive thins:) I know that he is very young as he is 18 and that's about it. Well the Hamilton's are doing okay. He is still smoking but is cutting way back!! He only does like 4 a day so that's really good. I know he will quite smoking:) I have been in Florence hot a very long time. I am working on my 5th month. I hope the people here like me:) They are great!! So last week I was struggling really hard. I just wanted to go home. But after I bore my testimony on Sunday I came to the conclusion that I don't want to go home. I made it this far I just got to endure to the end. But it's been rough.
Yes, I remember Sis Reid. She was awesome! That was nice for her to stop by and say hi. You need to drive over to Mark's house and invite them, that's my challenge to you! I know Kylee got married as I saw that on Facebook:) I am glad she did and I hope she is happy:) Take pictures of the Reed Rodeo as I wanna see how that goes! The weather up here has been pretty nice but Sunday and today I an freezing!! It is windy and raining and the high is suppose to be 37 and the low 22 which is un normal here in Florence!!  I feel bad for Vanessa being in that cold weather. I am driving again and I have been driving safe:) So this Wednesday we are going down to the Medford Temple to go through. I am really excited for that but it's about a 4 hour drive:/ Not to excited about the drive but oh well, as long as I get to go in, Someone in the ward gave a name that I can do. That was nice of her to do that!!! hmm other than that we have been trying to find an investigator on our own but no success yet. I know we will find someone soon:) As long as we have the faith.
Oh, just to let you know, I hurt my knee a week ago and it's been hurting lately so tonight I am going to have someone look at it. I hope nothing is wrong with it.
Well, I love you and I hope you have a wonderful week.

January 27, 2014

Hey Mom and Dad,

It sounds like you had a crazy week:) I bet the temple is beautiful. That's good that there were a lot of people that went to the open house. Maybe they will be interested in the church now:) That's great Karlee had her baby and everything went good :) I saw some pictures on Facebook. He looks like a big boy! I am surprised he didn't come out hairy, haha. Well, I had transfers today and I lost Fakaua and gained Elder White. He is from south west Utah. He has only been out 7 months, kind of young. He is my district leader and is a pretty cool guy! So my week went flying by and we had some good lessons and some great exchanges!! So Sunday we gave Bro Hamilton a blessing to quit smoking. I really believe he will!! It was really spiritual. We also had sports night and invited a ton of people and we had a great turn out!!
Well, thank you for the birthday package and thank you for the wishes. Oh, and yes I get my driving privileges back:) finally:) Well, I will talk to you next week.

Love ya, Elder Reed

January 20, 2014

Hey Mom and Dad,

It sounds like everyone is doing well and Karlee is having her baby:) Is she scared?? Good for them! That's awesome you're at the temple. Send me lots of pictures of the temple. I didn't know that the gilbert temple is the biggest temple that has been built in the past 17 years. That is super cool. I bet it's so pretty inside:) Up here in Oregon everything is going well. The family we are working with is doing great. The dad said Sunday was his last day to smoke a cigarette. So pray for the Hamilton family! We had a good turn out friday night for sports night. A lot of people came to it! Right now we have been trying to find a new family to teach the gospel to. So hopefully we can find them!! That is awesome Rebecca Arnett got married in the temple! I hope they are doing good!! Um, I don't know what I need for my birthday but I always like ties:) haha and candy. You need to get over and invite Mark and his wife to the temple. Tell Hannah Brown that she will do great on her mission!! That's so exciting that Wes is coming home. I bet he looks great and I bet his family is super excited!! Yea, Keno is in our mission, it's kind of by Eagle Point!
Well, everything is good here. Transfers are on the 27th of this month. I think I am staying here again!! So I have been here for awhile!!! I love this area as there are so many good people here!!:) Well, not sure what else has happened. I hope Karlee has her baby and everything goes well:) I love you and hope you have a good week.

January 13, 2014

Hey Mom and Dad,

It sounds like you had a busy week. That is cool you taught Brittany how to make some branding iron:) I bet her arms were tired. I bet she knows how you feel now! You will have to let me know how Karlee is when she has her baby!!:)This week has been really busy for us!!! This week flew by, I don't know what happened to the week! Me and my comp did a church tour with our gators. You could really feel the spirit when they came into the sacrament room. It was awesome! Friday night we started up a sports night for our gators and members. We had a good turn out as a lot of people came and had lots of fun! We are teaching the Hamilton family. It's going great. We had a picture of a plane that was about to crash so we gave everyone a piece of paper and said to write their last words that your loved ones will read and we would put it in a black box. So they wrote what they were going to say and we collected the paper and ripped them all up and threw them on the ground. We ask them how they felt and they said not good. We said that this is how the prophet's feel in the Book of Mormon because in certain parts in the book of Mormon is says that these are my last words. We bore our testimonies about the Book of Mormon and how it is so important that we read and take care of the scriptures.
Well, I am jealous you get to go through the temple. I am sure that will be a great missionary experience this week. That is sweet you can be a cop at the temple tours and see your old friends!! You will have to take pictures of it and send it to me!! I hope you can play your fiddles as that would be freaked sweet!! I am so thankful for Joseph Smith and our Savior for what they completed. I love you and thank you for everything you do for me. I love you so much and I hope you have a full and exciting week.

January 6, 2014

Hey Mom & Dad,

That is cool that Pres. Young called you yesterday!!! Ya, I bore my testimony on tithing and the atonement because I had a cool experience. I started to cry in it. I don't know why I cry all the time now. I guess the Lord is humbling me. We have been working hard with a less active family, the Hamilton's, and he had a dryer that wouldn't turn on. He has been going through financial times and he didn't know why it wasn't turning on. He went and bought a breaker for it but didn't have time to put it in. Then we came over and he said he found a $100 bill in his pocket. We kept teaching him to always pay his tithing so that same day he went and paid his tithing. That same day we went over and ate lunch with him and I said, "Let's go look at the dryer." So we went and looked at it and he flipped the breaker on and we went inside again to look at the dryer and that stinker thing fired right up and worked like a champ. So that strengthened my testimony on tithing and how if we just keep his commandments the Lord will guarantee us blessings.
This week went by really fast. So Saturday morning we started a sports day where we invite the people we are teaching and less active families and active families to come and play sports in the morning. Last Saturday was the first time we tried it and it was a good turn out. When we are done we share a message. It was cool. We are still dining a lot of service which is good and we are trying to find new people to teach the gospel to. A lady in the ward ask me every time to fix her truck and I will fix it. So now every time someone needs their car fixed I will help them. I am glad dad taught me how to wok on trucks cuz people now days don't even know how to change a belt on their car. It's crazy to me.
Well dad, I am sorry you have the flu. I am right with you though as I am having the flu also. A member told us swine flu is going around in Lane county and that is right where Florence is. But I don't  have that, just the flu.  I am starting to feel better but I still have a nasty cough and stuffy nose. That is scary you didn't get enough oxygen to your brain. That is good you went to the doctor. I am glad you are starting to feel better. Mom, I hope you don't get sick.
Send me a picture of Karlee and tell John to email me. I emailed him but I don't know if he got it. That's super funny about the chickens. Just shoot them and bury them:) I hope Brooke gets moved in and I will pray for everyone to feel better.
Well, I love you guys more than anything and I miss you guys and the family. I hope you have a good week. Oh, and did you read Vanessa's letter, that was really cool.

Love you, Elder Reed

December 31, 2013

Hey Mom,

It was nice to hear everyone's voices. You guys sound super awesome and it sounds like everyone was happy. Sorry I called super late. Thank you for the pictures and the presents. I can't wait to wear the scarf. That's nice of you to go out and see the Brittany, James & Briana's families. I hope Brooke gets moved in okay. Call the missionaries to help with the move. Right now I am sick. I have a cold. I am glad you guys are getting blessings. That really made me happy.

I am going to print off that talk by Pres Packer about lighthouses and share it with the members out here. Yes, I did receive the book from Grandpa. I thought it was really funny that grandpa was scared of the dog. I really liked that book. So, tomorrow we get to watch a movie and then have a zone p-day. So hopefully that goes good. Today a guy in our ward is suppose to take us hiking. I will try and take some pictures of that. Did you set any goals for the new year? Well, I love you so much and have good week and a wonderful new year.

Love you much, Elder Reed

December 24, 2013

Hey Mom and Dad,

Merry Christmas:) This year flew by. It's crazy how fast time goes by!! That is awesome that you had a baptism:) I bet mom did an amazing job at the piano. I had a great Sunday. The people sang all sacrament meeting and its was good. I hope you take pictures of your Christmas nativity party:) I wanna see them. I bet it will be great.  Jamie Alston sang in sacrament meeting, dang it, I wish I could have been there. Oh, I got a Christmas card from Bishop Evans. He is a nice guy. It is really good to be out here serving the Savior and bringing people to Christ. I love this work and I am so glad I came back out:) I love this Christmas season and telling people about Christ and what he did for us. So last Monday we had a FHE and I made apple cobbler for this family. It was really good and they never had a FHE before so I told them how to do one. Then Sunday night we went caroling and we had a really good turn out and it was pretty fun. A lot of non-members showed up. We are still teaching some gators but we are trying to find new people to teach!! We are working with a lot of less active though which is just as good to reactivate them. We have some sisters in our district but they weren't in our picture haha. I live with Bro Huppolo and Sis Bruner is the one that sent you the pictures. Well, I am very excited to talk to you tomorrow at 6 which is probably 7 for you guys. I can't wait to talk to the family. That will be the highlight of my day!! Well, I love you and I will talk to you tomorrow. I have got to get going as we are going to get trained to do Facebook!!! Have a good Christmas eve.

December 16, 2013

Hey Mom and Dad,

It's so crazy how time seems to fly by. I got your package and sweet, I will open it and pass out candy. Transfers are today and I am staying here in Florence which is great. I love this little town. There are so many wonderful people here. We are teaching a less active family right o and we are focusing on getting them to the temple so they can be sealed. Tonight we are going to have a family home evening with them which is going to be fun:) They too in a homeless guy and he is starting to read the Book of Mormon. He said he doesn't have any questions yet. We are also building a house for a lady and this guy, who is a non member. We were all standing out by the trash can and there was a red bull energy drink and I picked it up and I said "Jerry, did you drink this?" He said, "No, I don't drink that stuff." Then the guy said, "Mormons can't drink that?" and we taught everyone there the work of wisdom. It was awesome as there were like 5 people there.
Dang mom, you need to get your Christmas tree up and decorated. That's sweet you got new lights, that's awesome. I am so excited to call you guys for Christmas. You will have to send me pictures of Brooke's house. I want to see how it is coming. That is good the work is coming along. I like Brig and am glad he is home. I wonder how he is doing. That stinks about Ashley's boyfriend but I really didn't like that guy she was dating. Tell the Lunds I said Hi. I am glad you are staying busy with work. That's crazy that you saw Savannah. Good for her dating that guy. She news a guy like that and I am glad she found one. Can you send me more horseshoe key rings. I want to give one to my landlord. He is a really nice guy. It's truly amazing what the gospel can do for people.
Well, I love you and hope you have a good Christmas.

December 9, 2013

Hey Mom & Dad,

It's so crazy up here. It snowed here Friday which is crazy because it's not suppose to snow here in Florence. All the water is frozen and some of the lakes are also frozen. That is good Brooke will move in soon. I am excited for her. I am glad you are staying busy. I love talking about Christ and His atonement. I cry all the time when anyone talks about that. I did see the Christmas devotional. It was really good. We had a zone meeting and we are going to get iPads and Facebook in January. So that will be pretty cool. That is sweet Karlee is getting ready to pop our her baby. I bet she is getting really excited. I couldn't open up Weston's gymnastics so can you send it again. Thank you for my boots, that will help me since we are doing so much service. That is crazy about Lindsey Davis kids. I am glad they are doing all right. That's crazy Sam Calhoun just had another baby, good for her! Scott Reheis is getting married to Rhondalee Jones! That's weird but it's also good news. It sounds like Warren Solomon is doing the 4 step program with you. Have you guys picked a date yet?
So a crazy thing happened Sunday. We had stake conference and we sat by this lady I didn't know and some member from the Florence Ward. So I started talking to her and her name is Sister Allen. I asked if she had any relatives from Arizona and she said yes but not from her husbands side. She ask me where I was from and I said Queen Creek and she has a cousin Micah Rogers. I said "dang, I know that guy, I like him." I told her Bro Rogers had a grandma that lives somewhere up here and she told me she lives in Yakats which is just north of Florence. So that was really cool that I got to talk to her. It's crazy how small the world is:) Well, that's about all that has happened this week.
So I got Vanessa's email and she sent me a photo of her. She looks good and happy. She took a picture of her in front of an oregon sign:) She said in Illinois there is a town called Oregon. haha isn't that sweet. I sent her a birthday present and she seemed really happy to get it:)
Well, I love you and hope you have a good week. Tell the family that I love them. Could you send me some more horseshoe key rings? Thanks for everything you do for me.

I sure do love you
